A blackjack system is a set of betting rules that strives to increase your win rate by manipulating the sizing and timing of your bets. Unlike most casino games, there are actually legitimate betting systems for blackjack. These systems are collectively referred to as “card counting.”
But before we go any further, I’d like to warn you not to waste your time or money with betting systems that guarantee your wins or that claim to require no card counting. There is no such thing as a blackjack system that is so easy it just lines your pockets with cold hard cash every single night.
The good news is that there are blackjack systems that can work if used properly. You can tell these are legitimate systems because their authors are cautious about making promises. They tell you that it takes hard work, practice and patience for their blackjack systems to deliver the financial rewards that you seek.
Blackjack Systems for Card Counting
Card counting is the only true blackjack system that actually works. However, learning how to count cards in blackjack is no easy task. First of all, it only works at live casinos where the cards are not constantly shuffled. At online casinos (and some live casinos), the deck is continuously shuffled so there’s no way you can gain an accurate count.
The other issue with card counting at blackjack is that casinos do not look very highly upon card counters. Some casinos will kick you out if they suspect you of counting cards, while other casinos will send people down to talk to you and distract you. You won’t be buried out in the desert, but they’ll definitely do their best to hound you.

The basic idea behind blackjack card counting systems is that it keeps track of how many high cards have been revealed by the dealer. When a lot of high cards have been seen, it means that the remaining deck is low in high cards. This means that your odds of getting a blackjack have been reduced. During those times, you bet the minimum amount possible.
On the other hand, the remaining deck is believed to be rich in high cards when a lot of low cards have been revealed. This means that you are more likely to catch a blackjack and receive a payout of 3:2. During these times, you are instructed to increase your bet as much as you can get away with.

There is a lot of free information about blackjack systems on the web, but sometimes it can be helpful to buy a comprehensive guide or book. A good blackjack system will explain to you exactly how card counting works, how to practice and it will give you tips that are straight from the professionals.
There are some great blackjack systems for sale out there, but you have to be careful when spending money on them. There are a lot of people out there who just regurgitate a bunch of basic information and then slap a price tag on it. If you want to spend money on a blackjack system, I recommend first looking for physical books at an actual bookstore. Just stop into a Borders or Barnes and Noble sometime and ask one of the employees for the gambling section.
There are also good blackjack systems for sale on the internet. The only problem with spending money for an e-book or virtual course is that you have to separate the real products from the imitations. Look around for reviews, ask your friends and ask around on popular blackjack forums.
And finally, remember that no blackjack system is fool-proof or guaranteed to turn you into a millionaire. Card counting is a difficult profession that requires a lot of practice and requires you to hide what you are doing. Casinos are very good at detecting card counters, so putting it into practice requires more than just a little basic addition.
