Let It Ride Rules
These Let It Ride rules are standard at most live casinos. You may find some variance in the payout rates but for the most part, the game is the same no matter where you go. Also note that this is basically the same game as “Let Them Ride” and “Let ‘Em Ride.”
The only difference between “Let It Ride” and “Let Em Ride” is how the bets are placed. In “Let It Ride” you place all three bets up front and may then take those bets back as the hand progresses. In “Let Em Ride” you start out with just one bet and may then add bets as the hand progresses. In the end, it’s the same game.
Most live casinos use the same Let It Ride rules explained here and most online casinos use these Let Em Ride rules
How to Play Let It Ride
Let It Ride is played at a table that is marked with three spots for your bets. Each round begins with you placing three bets of equal size on the table. After that, the dealer will shuffle the deck and deal three cards face up to you and three cards face down in the middle of the table.
You can then look at your cards and decide if you wish to take back your first bet or “let it ride.” Next, the dealer discards one of the three in the middle and then reveals one of the two remaining cards. You may now decide if you wish to take back your second bet or “let it ride.”
Next, the dealer reveals the remaining cards. Your poker hand is formed using the three cards in front of you plus the two cards on the table. If you have a pair of 10s or better, the bets you let ride will be paid according to the following chart:
Your Hand – Payout
Royal Flush – 1000:1 (varies)
Straight Flush – 200:1 (varies)
Four of a Kind – 50:1
Full House – 11:1
Flush – 8:1
Straight – 5:1
Three of a Kind – 3:1
Two Pair – 2:1
Pair of 10s or higher – 1:1
